Returns and Refunds Policy (EU/Italy) — CAPSLOCK s.r.l.
Key points at a glance
- You may withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days from delivery without giving any reason.
- For change‑of‑mind returns, you pay the direct cost of returning the goods. For defective, damaged or wrong items, we cover return costs.
- Refunds include the price of the goods and the cost of the least‑expensive standard delivery option for the returned items when you return the entire order. Express delivery upgrades are not refunded.
- Send back the goods within 14 days after telling us you are withdrawing. We may withhold the refund until we receive the goods or proof of shipment.
- You may handle items as in a store. You are liable only for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
- Personalized or made‑to‑order items are not returnable unless defective.
- Legal warranty of conformity for consumers: 24 months from delivery.
Scope
- Covered products: physical books and branded merchandising (shirts, sleeves, tote bags) sold to EU consumers from Italy.
- This policy applies to consumers. If you purchased as a business (non‑consumer), statutory withdrawal rights generally do not apply.
- We do not sell sealed audio/video items.
Legal basis
- Right of withdrawal: EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU (as amended) and Italian Consumer Code (D.Lgs. 206/2005), Articles 52–59.
- Legal warranty of conformity: Sale of Goods Directive (EU) 2019/771 and Italian Consumer Code, Articles 128–135‑septies.
Right of withdrawal (change of mind)
Period:
- 14 calendar days from the day you, or a person indicated by you (other than the carrier), acquire physical possession of the goods.
- Multiple items delivered separately: from delivery of the last item.
- A single item delivered in multiple lots/pieces: from delivery of the last lot/piece.
- Regular delivery of goods over a period: from delivery of the first good.
How to exercise:
- Notify us before the 14‑day period expires. You may use the Model Withdrawal Form in Annex 1, but it is not mandatory.

Effects:
- We will refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day you inform us of your decision to withdraw. We may withhold the refund until we receive the goods back or you supply evidence of having sent them back, whichever is earlier.
- Refunds are made using the same means of payment you used, unless we agree otherwise. You will not incur any fees as a result of the refund.
Return shipping and costs
- Change of mind: you bear the direct cost of returning the goods. Use a trackable service; you bear the risk of loss or damage in transit until we receive the goods.
- Defective, damaged or wrong item: we cover return shipping and will provide a prepaid label or arrange collection.
Condition of returned goods and diminished value
- Handle items only as you would in a store. For books, avoid writing, highlighting or bending; include dust jackets if present. For apparel/accessories, try‑on is allowed; avoid wear/soiling beyond inspection and keep tags where reasonably possible.
- If the item has been handled beyond what is necessary and its value is diminished, we may reduce your refund accordingly.
- Original packaging is not mandatory to exercise withdrawal, but please return any accessories and protective packaging when reasonably possible.
Withdrawal exceptions (non‑returnable for change of mind)
- Personalized or made‑to‑order products (e.g., custom‑printed shirts or tote bags tailored to your specifications), unless defective.
- Other exceptions in Article 59 of the Italian Consumer Code, where expressly indicated on the product page. We currently do not sell sealed audio/video items.
Defective, damaged or wrong items — legal warranty
- If your item is defective, arrives damaged, or is not as described, contact us promptly with your order number and, where helpful, photos.
- Under the 24‑month legal warranty of conformity, you are entitled to repair or replacement, or, if those are impossible or disproportionate, a price reduction or termination with refund. We will manage return shipping at our cost for warranty cases.
Exchanges
- We do not offer direct exchanges. For the fastest service, please submit a return for refund and place a new order for the desired item/size.
How to return
Step 1 — Request a return within 14 days of delivery:

- Include: order number, items to return, reason (optional). For defects, describe the issue and attach photos if possible.
Step 2 — Prepare the parcel:
- Pack items securely and include the delivery note or a note with your order number and contact details.
Step 3 — Ship back within 14 days after withdrawal:
- Use our prepaid label for defects/wrong items, or your chosen carrier for change‑of‑mind returns.
- Return to: Via S. Pio IX 2, 36051 Creazzo (VI), Italy.
Step 4 — Refund:
- We process the refund after receiving the goods or receipt of proof of shipment, and we assess any diminished value.
Refund scope and delivery costs
When you return the entire order:
- We refund the price paid for the goods and the cost of our least‑expensive standard delivery option offered at checkout.
When you return only part of an order:
- We refund the price paid for the returned goods. Delivery costs are not refunded for partial returns, unless our delivery pricing depended on the returned items (e.g., per‑item delivery).
We do not refund:
- Supplementary costs for any delivery method more expensive than our least‑expensive standard option.
- Third‑party payment provider fees that are non‑refundable under their terms (e.g., currency conversion charges).
